In this painting, titled The Defence of the Eagle’s Nest, by Alexey Popov (1893), is depicted the crucial moment of the battle in August 1877, when a group of 5,000 Bulgarian and 2,500 Russian troops repulsed an attack against the peak by a nearly 40,000 strong Ottoman army.
Notice how various Russians and Bulgarians are throwing rocks, as at this point in the battle they had run out of ammunition.

Anyone who can’t immediately tell that this is satire legitimately needs to be forcefully removed from society.
What I find particularly interesting about this is how quickly it appeared everywhere. Within a day, I was seeing Gorilla Channel comments on numerous sites, alongside various articles and videos and ridiculous stunts. Vice News actually put together a gorilla channel youtube stream.. And all of this happened within the span of about 17-18 hours.
They weren’t just eager to believe it, they jumped at the opportunity to try and defame Trump without a bit of hesitation. They seem to think they are engaging in some kind of media warfare against Trump, but everytime this happens, the only things proven are 1) The mainstream media does not fact check, 2) they’ll dedicated an assload of resources at a moment’s notice to spreading a story they did not fact check, and 3) They don’t realize that they are the one’s being made to look like fools in all of this.
